Out of Sight

The following book re-designs Italo Calvino’s short story, “Invisible Cities”, and it’s English translation. Each spread is composed of the English text on each left-facing page, and the original Italian writing on the right-facing page.

The title and the illustrations spread throughout the book reflect the “invisible” nature of public typography in downtown Chicago.
